Beauty Tips From Clarins It Girl Prisca Courtin-Clarins

When it comes to French beauty there’s probably no better person to get advice from than Prisca Courtin-Clarins member of the world renown Clarins family.  Prisca, her twin Jenna and cousins Claire and Virginie are the epitome of French chic while traveling the world as ambassadors for Clarins.  Recently, Priscia shared some of her beauty secrets, favourite products and what she thinks about French Vs Americian beauty in an interview with Forbes.  Naturally we had to share them with you here.

Prisca’s Beauty Tips

  • Have a healthy diet, it doesn’t matter if you’re applying the best and most expensive creams in the world if your diet is unhealthy.
  • Apply serums and creams by gently pressing into the skin and never by stretching the skin.
  • Slimming products are best applied from the ankles upwards.
  • Use an SPF to protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV ray.

Prisca on French vs Americian Beauty

American women tend to be a bit more sophisticated, they always like to be done up, even during the day. French women are geared more towards a natural look. American women aren’t afraid to wear fake lashes or have the perfect hairdo. Sometimes we French women can let ourselves go a bit—no manicure, no makeup. My personal beauty look lies somewhere in the middle—American sophistication when it comes to hair and nails, but French natural regimen when it comes to skincare.
